| Scrooge McDuck
• First appearance → FC 178-02 • Nb of apparitions → CB : 285 / DR : 73
Son of Fergus and Dony McDuck, he grows in Scotland with his sisters Mathilda and Hortense. After a youth around the world and unremitting efforts, he becomes rich as a gold digger in the Klondike, where he has also a tumultuous relation with Goldie O'Gilt. He then sets up in Duckburg, where he makes a giant bin being built, at the top of the Killmotor hill, where he builds an empire, increasing his fortune around the world, until he becomes the richest duck in the world.
Having a quite miserly, embittered and withdrawn composition, his life takes a significant turning point when he meets again his nephew Donald and his grand-nephews Huey, Duey and Louie, with whom he lives many other adventures. But this return to public life forces him to defend fiercely his fortune from many threats, particularly the one of the Beagle Boys, and the one of his status of richest duck in the world.

As the daughter of Fergus and Downy McDuck, she is the youngest of the two sisters of Scrooge, and grows with them at Glasgow in Scotland. She sees his brother leave for America while she's still very young.
She has always had quite a sturdy character, which had for consequence Scrooge to give her name to a mare having the same disposition. Inseparable from her sister with whom she goes to the US to join their brother, she meets at Duckburg Quackmore Duck who has a character which close from hers and with whom she will have a son, Donald, and a daughter, Della. While Scrooge travels the world to extend his financial empire, she is in charge of his business at Duckburg with her sister and her husband who becomes accountant, until Scrooge's come-back. At this moment, his sisters leave Duckburg, disgusted about what he has become.
